皆同じようにやっていたら、皆と同じようにしかならない

この言葉は、３歳の頃から繰り返し母親に言われてきたそうです。

「何で勉強しないといけないの？」

と母親に聞くと、

「主体的に生きるためよ」

と言われてきたそうです。

「皆と同じような時間の使い方をしていては、
皆と同じようにしかならないの。
夢を持った時、そこにたどり着くためには、
自分がやりたいことのために、自分で主体的に時間を使うことが必要だから、
その取捨選択が自分でできるようになるために、今勉強しておくのよ」

というようなことを常に教えていたそうです。
